Lowe's Canada to hire over 7,000 employees this spring for its stores

National Hiring Day to be held on Saturday, February 24 from 9 AM to 4 PM in all Lowe's, RONA and Reno-Depot corporate stores across Canada

Boucherville, QC - February 5, 2018 — In preparation for home improvement's busiest season, Lowe's Canada is recruiting more than 7,000 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees this spring, adding to its current workforce of over 25,000 employees nationwide. To kick off its hiring campaign, Lowe's Canada - which operates or services more than 630 corporate and dealer stores in Canada under different banners - will host its first-ever National Hiring Day on Saturday, February 24. On that day, potential candidates are invited to walk into any Lowe's, RONA and Reno-Depot corporate stores across the country between 9 AM and 4 PM to learn more about available employment opportunities. Management teams will be onsite to accept applications and conduct on-the-spot interviews. Candidates can also apply online at any time.

Available part-time and full-time positions include service and support managers, customer service associates, cashiers, stockers, boom truck drivers and sales specialists. Available in-store seasonal positions, which typically support stores between March and September, include cashiers, lawn and garden associates, stockers, assemblers of outdoor products and loaders. To accommodate the student population, employment may begin later in the spring based on their availability.
