The new RONA Des Ormeaux store, located in Montreal, Quebec, opens its doors to the public

  • This new store is the result of a more than $1-million investment and has created about 15 jobs

Boucherville, QC December 23, 2020—RONA, a banner of Lowe’s Canada, one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers, joins dealer owners Pascal Ferland, François Tremblay, and Simon St-Laurent in announcing the opening of the new RONA Des Ormeaux store. Starting today, the group of contractors, who are also co-owners of the RONA Oka and RONA Villeray stores, will welcome customers to their new business as the result of an investment of more than $1 million and several months of work. The opening of this new store, located at 2885 Rue des Ormeaux in Montreal, Quebec, has created 15 jobs.

“By opening this new RONA store, we want to better meet the home improvement needs of the Montreal community,” said Pascal Ferland, co-owner of the new store. “In addition to a wide selection of quality products, including exclusives such as Craftsman tools and Sico paint, our customers will benefit from personalized service and expert advice that will help both Pros and DIYers carry out their various home improvement projects, both big and small.”

The new store, which has a 5,700 sq. ft. sales area and a lumber and building material department, will offer more than 10,000 different items in store. In addition, customers will have access to several thousand additional products by visiting rona.ca. In just a few minutes, they will be able to place an order and choose from flexible pickup options, including home delivery and in-store pick-up.
