Senior appointment supports Lowe's Canadian growth and business strategy

[TORONTO, ON — October 14, 2014] — Lowe's Canada announced the appointment of Guy Beaumier as Vice President, Operations effective October 6, 2014. Guy joins Lowe's Canada with over 25 years of Operations and Merchandising experience in the retail industry. As Lowe's new Vice President, Operations he will be responsible for leading the company's Store Operations, Store Support and Commercial and Installed Sales.

Guy's appointment supports Lowe's efforts in being the best home improvement company in Canada, while ensuring it has the optimal organizational structure in place to deliver on business and growth strategies.

Guy has held various leadership roles with top retailers in Quebec, Ontario and Alberta including Loblaw, Labatt, Sobey's, Acosta and Metro. He earned a Business Degree from University of Trois Rivieres and is bilingual.
